Land Registry Work
We deal with a variety of Land Registry work such as:
Voluntary registrations i.e arrange to register at the Land Registry unregistered land to ensure that no-one has already registered part of the land or to get any problems regarding land sorted out and to avoid boundary disputes etc. If unregistered land has not had any dealings for many years and property has been sold around it, it is wise to apply for registration and voluntary registration brings with it a reduced Land Registry fee.
Notices of severance ie where a property is held as beneficial joint tenants - in order to save Inheritance Tax for example you would need to hold the property as "tenants in common" and you would "sever " the tenancy accordingly;
Registering a restriction for example if a Declaration of Trust has been entered into - for example if a third party has paid some money towards a property and they want their interest noting on the deeds
